Clothing
We suggest buying your character's clothing from charity shops and spending no more than £20. In most cases, characters enter the facility with what they are wearing and nothing more, a few characters have small bags or suitcases.
It may be cold at night (below 10 degrees celcius), so thermal layers, hats and gloves are recommended.
WHAT TO BRING
Bedding
You will need to bring suitable bedding—including a sleeping bag and a sleeping mat. Please note that unless you have accessibility issues, you will need to be able to carry your bedding, clothing, and any luggage with you in a single trip into the facility.
It will be cold at night, so an extra blanket and a good quality sleeping bag is recommended. For international players, we will provide an option to purchase a sleeping bag and mat for you for collection at the larp.
Torch
There are no lights in the cells. It is strongly recommended that you bring an off-game light source for use in your cell during hours of darkness. In-game light sources will be available, particularly in communal areas.
Personal Items
We will provide you with a means to mark your out-of-character bag. Please keep these in your cells and out of sight as much as possible. We would prefer you kept personal mobile phones switched to silent and out of sight. Mobile phones seen by the guards will be assumed to be in-game and will be confiscated.
